Off To NYC

I'm off to New York City for work. I'll hopefully have pics to post once I'm back.

Here are some runway models roaming the streets of New York.

Move Over 2-D!

Nowadays, it seems everything is going 3-D!

I have seen a few editorials lately that have gone 3-D. Luckily, I still have my Coraline 3-D glasses.

Phyllo Dough: Part II

I don't really have much of a sweet tooth, Mike actually ate most of the Strawberry filled Phyllo cups. But I ended up having extra sheets, so I thought of making something savory instead.

I cut the sheets into rectangles and baked them, making "tostada" bases. Then I topped with my favorite tostada toppings. Refried Beans, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Onion, Charred Chicken and Cotija Cheese. Add a dollup of Sour Cream, and you got yourself a meal.

I've always wanted big ratty, messy hair. Think I can pull it off? =)

Chopped Zucchini, Red Onion, Green Bell Pepper and Mushrooms for the Stuffing

Ground Turkey with the Veggies, Diced Tomatoes, Seasoning, Handful of Panko and Parmesan and some of the Balsamic Ketchup Sauce

Red Bell Peppers Par Boiling. I like to slice mine in half instead of cutting the tops off so you can "stuff" more mixture into them.

Mike was determined to make granola bars at home. You'll never want to pay $5 for a 4 pack when you can make 4 times that much for the same price!
