Off and on I like to collect spoon jewelry. Every time I am up in San Jose for the Cupertino swap meet, I always go straight to this one jewelry booth. The people there help me scan the hundreds and hundreds of rings they have for spoon rings.
My favorite are the rings, but I have come across some other styles using spoons.
The full mini spoon is actually a pin. I found it at a church thrift store. The older lady behind the counter told me the story behind the pins. She said that in the mid century when someone bought their silverware set, it would come with a pin of a mini version of a spoon representing the design of their set. I can't find out if it is true or not, but I like to believe it.
